You Never Give Me Your Money

This book focuses mostly about the break up of the Beatles. It explores everything from Yoko Ono to George Martin. It is a pretty long book but worth it. It also focuses on the quality and production of their music their later days. Also, it shines a light on the Beatles company Apple Corp. Apple Corp is a pun. When you say the words, it sounds like Apple core. Anyway, the book delves into the deep emotions and events that shaped the Beatles. It talks about John's obsession with Yoko, and Paul's racist remarks about Yoko. This book might sound like the Beatles were a dysfunctional group that only argued. The Beatles did argue but this book explains why they were the most influential band of all time.

Cirque Du Freak: Allies of the Night

I've been reading the book series Cirque Du Freak. It really good. In this book Darren is investigating these mysterious murders in a town. They never tell you the name of the city. Also he's with Mr. Crepsley and Harkart. Harkart is a man who came back to life who has no face. They have been in the town before when they killed the Vampenze Murlough. While walking Darren gets attacked by a Vampenze. The Vampenze is about to krill Darren when an arrow hits it in the knee. The vampenze runs away but Darren has to deal with the person who killed the Vampenze. This is a shocker. It's Darren old friend who wants to kill him. The thing is he doesn't want to kill him anymore. The acquire him as a friend and try to kill all the vampanze in the town. I haven't read anymore but it's very good.

1984

1884 is one of the best books I've ever read. I like how it explains whats going through Winston's head. It's also very descriptive. I imagined everything Orwell explained. I still remember when they go to the country side to the rolling fields of grain. It is also one of the saddest and strangest ending books. It ends after winston gets tortured then when he's walking down the corridor he sees Big Brother then he gets shot in the head. His girlfriend is forced to go away from him. He has hope then it gets crushed.

Dracula

We all have seen vampire movies but have you read the book that started it all? Dracula is probably on the most terrifying book I have ever read. It is creepy and never want to stay in a castle again. It has great detail and specifically what John Harker feels like emotionally. I can see why Bram Stoker called Dracula, Dracula. Dracula was a real ruler who was nick named Vlad the Impaler. I wonder why he was named that? It is rich with detail and scares me almost as more as Neil Gaimen. If you like scary books this is for you.

Countdown

Countdown is about the Cuban missile crisis. It's interesting because right now it's not that serious but I can still apply that to my life. It really shows how scared America was and how paranoid the public was. I learned the drills were in the schools. I asked my dad about it and he told me it was normal for some people to have shelters out back. They show a map of how far it is from major cities from the launch pad. I saw Chicago and its only one thousand miles which is far but for a missile not very long. It's so exciting and very scary. I would never have wanted to live back then.

Cirque Du Freak

Cirque Du Freak is about a traveling Freak show. It first starts out with two friends, Darren and Steve, who find a poster that says "Cirque Du Freak", and then lists all these crazy people like Snake boy, Wolf Man, the Bearded Lady and many with other strange deformities. They get tickets to go to it. When they are there they see many things. One act stands out to Steve. After the show Steve tells Darren to go home alone. Steve stays and of course Darren follows him. He sees Steve confront the actor. Steve accuses the actor of being a vampire. Mr. Crepsley (the actor) confesses. Steve asks to be a vampire. Mr. Crepsley says no but Steve keeps pushing and pushing him. Mr. Crepsley stills says no. Steve is so stunned and depressed. Steve leaves and Mr. Crepsley also leaves. Many things happen over the next days. Steve gets bitten by a poisonous spider that was stolen from Mr. Crepsley  by Darren. Steve almost dies so Darren finds Mr. Crepsley to see if he has the antidote. He does but he'll only give it to Darren if he becomes his assistant which means he has to become a vampire. He'll never see his family or friends ever again. Darren's adventures have just started.

Rock Story

Just found this story on my computer. Hope you like it.

I drifted from a big black abyss. Finally I’m away from the hot mound that was in that abyss.  Now I’m on the surface of this cold stuff with other objects that look like me. I’m with all these other objects that are frothy. We have been drifting around for a while. All you can see is blue and a plot of land with some green things on it. A gust of air just pushed us forward. We are approaching the plot of land. Were getting closer and closer and closer. I can see on the edge of the plot of land there are red things that are frothy a lot of them. They look like me. I see some that look like a red gel. There are some that are part gel and part frothy red thing. Also there are frothy objects that have a reddish tint. Some of the objects that are around me a washing up on to the plot of land. But another gust of air pushed us away from the plot of land. Ech. I feel like there is something sloshing around me in different parts. Strange...

This is boring... Hey, some of the other rocks are melting. Granted they are red. They must be some mutant thing. They look like me though. It just turns to a gel thing and disappears. Hey, I look a little reddish to..................... Wait a minute what are those dark dense looking objects that are floating. I can see flashes of light. WOW. The cool liquid surface is starting to wash up on me. I’m becoming to separate from the other objects. Ohhhh. There are particles of cold liquid falling down on us. Ahh. I’m going under!!!! AHHH! HELP! OH NO! The other objects that look like me are moving away from me! Even though I didn’t know what they were they looked like me so I felt like I had a special connection with them. That fierce brigade of rain and wind has stopped. I’m floating around... Again... I feel so alone. Ech. I just got that feeling again. That feeling like things is sloshing around in me. OHH. Finally I see some land. I’m approaching it. Ouch. I ran into a big hard thing. Its black. Hmm. Whatever... Ahh this is the life. I just washed up on this soft yellow tan material. It’s very warm. AHHHH. The waves! They keep washing over me. Over and over and over and over agian. These waves have washed over more than all the green and brown stalks on the island, which is a lot! Oh no I’m turning red! AHHH the red things that looked like me that I saw on the other island are me. They turned red after all the water washed over them. There is also water inside me! AHHHHH! I’M GOING TO TURN IN TO RED GEL!!!!!!!  My best hope is to be buried under this yellow tan matireal..... Yes. The yellow stuff is slowly piling over me. Ohhh. This feels weird. This yellow stuff is dense. A little bit is heavy... Oh no. The sun is becoming to dissipear. The yellow stuff is covering it up. AHHHH. I can’t see. Eww. What’s this mushy stuff. Wait a secend. THIS IS ME. THE WATER HAS MADE ME INTO MUSH!!!! Keep calm. Keep calm. Knowing I’m mush and knowing there must be so much yellow stuff and this hard hard rough things I found I’m think I’m doomed. The hard rough thing keep rubing into me.

Ouch. I’m becoming to thin out..... It must have been ages and ages. All I see is darkness. I have been solidified some how. I’ve gotten used to the darkness but the pressure and the heat I hate. Every thing around me is hard. Every once in a while everything around me rattles. Also there are spurts of hotness. WOW. Its so hot. Ouch, OUCH. HELP. AHHHHHHH. OH NO. EVERYTHING IS GROWING ORANGE. AHHHHHHHH!!!!! WHATS HAPPENING> WHATS THAT ORANGE LIQUID. OH NO I’M FALLING... AHHHH. THIS STUFF HURTS. HELP I’M MELTING. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

RUMBLE RUMBLE. AHHHHHHH I’m being shot out of a crater thing. WOW. What are these black and shiny things around me. WOW I just remembered I used to be a different rock! WOW I’m a new rock. I like this.
